Favorites

My second thing I want to know about other quilters is what their favorites are. Favorite places to shop, notions, fabric designers, manufacturers, patterns, and other quilters. Below I have a list of some of my personal favorites. 

Fabric Shops

Hawthorne Threads Offers some wonderful fabric collections and bundles. They ship super fast and always have accurate stock numbers. 

Fat Quarter Shop Has some spectacular sales and a really large selection of fabric, books, and notions.

Craftsy Has lots of free and paid patterns by some great designers, as well as some beautiful quilt kits. I haven't taken a Craftsy class, but they look great!

Fabric.com Amazingly large selection and very cost effective if you need to buy in bulk,

Second City Quilt Co. A local quilt shop here in Chicago, IL. Great curated collection of fabric and patterns, and super friendly staff! 

Evanston Stitchworks A local fabric store in Evanston, IL. A great curated collection of high quality prints.

Vogue Fabrics A local fabric store with everything under the sun. I can walk to it which makes it convenient for me. They do offer fabric by the bolt online!

Chapel Hill Quilting A small Etsy shop with a great fabric selection!
